Technology Based Training

Faculty of the department are training the students on recent and demanding technologies. They are actively engaged in the various thrust areas. Some of them are listed below:-

Machine Learning

Machine learning is an application of artificial intelligence (AI) that provides systems the ability to automatically learn and improve from experience without being explicitly programmed. Machine learning focuses on the development of computer programs that can access data and use it learn for themselves.

Internet of Things (IOT)

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a network of smart devices that can send and receive data. Its growth is accelerated by Edge and Fog computing. To support this, the department has signed an MoU with industry partners to provide training for students in these emerging technologies.

Instrumentation Technology

Instrumentation technology programs teach students about control processes and measurement functions of devices. Instruments, including sensors, transducers, measurement tools, DAQ units, and peripherals, help design and test new projects. Instruments are found in labs, factories, refineries, vehicles, and homes.

Robotics & Automation Technology

As engineers, we aim to enhance human life through comfort, with automation playing a crucial role. Automation minimizes human intervention, while advancements in robotics have made robots smarter, more affordable, and capable of performing precise, consistent tasks, boosting production and profit.

Integrated Circuit Design

Integrated circuits are essential in today's electronic devices like phones, TVs, and computers. IC design ranges from simple circuits to complex systems. For complex designs, teams use structured approaches and simulations. Fields include analog, digital, and mixed circuit design, with job opportunities at companies like Texas Instruments and Samsung.
